2019: Nigerians Asked To Disregard Obasanjo over Buhari- Chief Whip

The Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Mr Ado Doguwa has urged Nigerians to disregard any comments by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo to President Muhammadu Buhari.

He stated this while briefing newsmen at the National Assembly.

Mr Doguwa said former president Obasanjo cannot be a stumbling block to the exercise of human and constitutional right of President Buhari to run for 2019 Presidential election.

He commended President Buhari’s commitment in improvement of democracy and his effort in fighting corruption which is priority in his administration.

Also, on the issue of herdsmen-farmer clash and loss of lives,  Mr Doguwa affirmed that President Buhari is doing all he can to contain the conflict.

He however urged President Buhari to continue in his good work of fighting corruption in the country.
