That is why we the 2000 set deem it fit to celebrate it on its 40th years of existence”.

Paul while commending the organisers of the school’s anniversary celebration, used the occasion to called on the Delta State government and oil firms, such as Shell and Agip, operating in the region to pay more attention to the welfare of the school’s teachers and facilities, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
He however stated that in rendering the CSR, the oil firms should avoid the temptations of giving funds to any individual or group, as such funds gave out in the past were been diverted to personal pockets. He counselled the oil firms to personally handle any project they intend giving to the school and their host communities.
