Paramount Ruler, Kinsmen, Blood Brothers Reject APC Governorship Candidate

A factional All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Cross River state, has been rejected by his Paramount ruler, all 16 clan heads of his local government area, his blood brothers and entire kinsmen as they all endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Prof Ben Ayade on Tuesday January 8, 2019.

The APC in the state had produced two factional governorship candidates in parallel primaries, with the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Pastor Usani Usani
and the Senator representing the central
senatorial district, John Owan-Enoh emerging as candidates.

A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court had in a judgment recently upheld to of Owan-Enoh as the candidate.

However, on Tuesday, the APC candidate, Mr. Owan-Enoh was rejected by his relatives as they all endorsed the incumbent governor and PDP candidate, Prof Ayade.
