Given all that has gone wrong so far this season for Chelsea, the last thing their fans would have wanted to hear is that the club could possibly face a transfer ban. 

The story broke last night from the Press Association, who claimed that Chelsea’s acquisition of Burkina Faso international Bertrand Traoré could see them get  investigated by Fifa.

Why are Chelsea possibly under investigation?

The key word here is “possibly”, as FIFA have so far refused to confirm an investigation is taking place, meaning we have had no official confirmation that Chelsea are in fact under special scrutiny.
