Bankole Family Prays For Departed Ones, Donate To Destitute Homes

The family of late business mogul, Alhaji Nurudeen Akanni Bankole, of Lagos State, today, hold special prayer service for four deceased family members.
The prayer which was held at family house,14 Bolaji Omupo street Pedro-Shomolu, Lagos.
Those been remembered are: Ahaja Suzzy, one of Late Bankole’s wivies, who died on April 16, 2003, Alhaji Taoreed, April 19 2009, Alhaji Musiliu Bankole, April 12 April 2016 and Saidat Moshebolatan Adeniyi who died on April 26, 2016, sons and daughter of the late businessman.
Highlight of the event was a visit to the destitute Home, Oko-baba, Ebute-metta, Lagos, where more than 1000 residents  of the Home were fed and given other items.
Speaking on the event, the spokesman of the family Rotarian Akibu Bankole said the month of April every year, is a peculiar/reflection month for the family because it is a month that the family lost four of their members.
Late Bankole, born in 1930 and died in 1993, was a successful businessman, self made-man and hardworking and a religious leader.
Like any other businessman of his time, Late Bankole recorded of successes and some toughest challenges. He was most successful in his capacity as a lover of all men, a forbearing, patient, accommodating leader and ever-willing contributor to Islamic charities of building mosques as well as facilitating pilgrimages to Mecca.
A non political person he was, but among  the pioneering entrepreneur who startup businesses in Lagos.
